Gubbi ಗುಬ್ಬಿ
Gubbi is an agricultural hub centered around the famous Sri Gubbi Channabasaveshwara Temple. It is well-known for its large coconut and copra trade market. Gubbi has also evolved into a center for technical education, housing some of the district's notable engineering colleges and the newly established Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) helicopter manufacturing facility nearby.
